RAEC delegation at the ABB factories in Italy

In early April 2018, a trip to Italy was organized specially for RAEC by ABB, long-time partner and top supplier of the Association.

Best specialists of commercial and product areas of the Elevel, Electrical technologies, EC Eco Light, Electrocomplect, AVS-electro, Emtika, Toledo, Uralenergo, GC FORUM ELECTRO companies became the participants of the trip.


ABB and RAEC have long-standing partnership and are in a trusting relationship. Traditionally each year the best staff of RAEC go to Germany, to ABB BUSCH-JAEGER factory in Lüdenscheid, where they actively participate in seminars, promotions and events of the supplier.

Competent organization and coordination during the trip by ABB brand Manager from RAEC Alexey Petrovsky and representatives of ABB in Russia Andrey Pechenkin and Sergey Chernetsov made acquaintance with the work of ABB plants in the cities of Santa Palombo and Frosinone unforgettable and also made guests feel the spirit of Italy and see the most impressive sights.

The journey began on April 4 from the heart of Italy – ancient and beautiful Rome. On the second day, the delegation of RAEC went to the ABB plant in Santa Palomba, specializing in the production of RCD and differential automata.


Thomas Petersen, regional sales and global marketing Manager, told the story of the ABB holding creation and its geography of presence in the world market of electrical products. Managers got acquainted with all stages of assembly, marking and quality control of products.

Employees of RAEC member companies became the first Russian group who saw the output from the convey of the new series of ABB modular equipment ‘Basic M’. Pechenkin Andrew, the group leader of modular equipment, told in more detail about the intricacies of this series, and also highlighted ABB series of household compact boards ‘Basic E’, produced on another plant.


The second half of the day was devoted to a visit to the city of Nemi overlooking the lake of the same name, which was considered to be one of the cleanest in the whole country and a walk around the summer residence of the Pope in Castel Gandolfo.

The third day of the trip, April 5, was devoted to a visit to the ABB SACE plant in Frosinone, which was famous for the release of circuit breakers series ‘Formula’, ‘Tmax’ and ‘Emax’. During the training, the stages of creating new products, as well as the methods of selection of suppliers of components for the plant were analyzed. Productive and close cooperation, openness, leadership, constant development is the basis of interaction of RAEC with their partners.
