RAEC at the Conference of the Aluminium Association
On April 10, in Moscow the conference 'Innovative aluminum alloy cables as tool for reducing the cost of construction', organized by the Aluminum Association was held. Сommercial Director of RAEC Victor Svintsov and сommercial Director of Elcom-Electro Olga Batova took an active part in the conference.
Representatives of UC RUSAL, Department of urban policy of Moscow, companies-builders (PIK Group, Leader development, GC Glavstroy), manufacturers of cable and wire products, components and accessories (UNKOMTECH, Moskabelmet, Kamskiy Kabel, Orel cable plant, WAGO Contact Rus, LEGRAND, Schneider Electric, IEK, etc.), representatives of the 'Safety cable' project and Russian Professional Community Of Cable Companies took part in the work of Conference.
The conference discussed the changes in the legal framework, allowing the use of new cables with aluminum alloys in the construction of residential and administrative buildings, incoming inspection and quality of the delivered production, readiness of the cable industry for release of new items, demand generation, innovation promotion and introduction of modern technologies, creation of new and modernization of current production.
Victor Svintsov expressed his ideas about the development of new technologies and products. In his opinion, motivation of three groups, producers, distributors and end users, could give the main impetus for this development. As soon as they could interact productively and in a consolidated manner, then we could hope for a technological breakthrough in the electricity market.
Olga Batova spoke at the conference as a representative of the largest cable and wire products supplier, the initiator of her own project 'Honest cable' and an active participant of the Safety cable project, which unites more than 120 companies.
